Apex Systems is looking for a senior level coldfusion developer for a contract to hire opportunity in Warren, MI. Our client is one of the largest government integrators that is currently supporting the US Army at TACOM. Client is looking to interview candidates at the end of September with work starting within the first couple weeks of October.
Candidates must be US CITIZENS that can get processed for a secret clearance. Candidates should be familar with working on large applictaions. Coldfusion 7, SQL scripts for scheduled processes and database tables are in Oracle 10G. Web pages are stored on Win 2003 server. Database (Oracle) are stored on SUSE Linux server. Need to migrate to Windows from Linux. 1) This position is based at U.S. Army Warren, MI 2) Senior Coldusion Web Application Developer / ORACLE support for US Army Mission Web Based Applications. 5+ yrs experience preferred. 3) Data architecture and MS SQL DBA experience a plus. 4) Plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy highly-critical US. Army application using the Coldusion, Oracle and SQL Server technologies. 5) Applied knowledge of Object Oriented ColdFusion MX architecture and ColdFusion Components (CFCs) 6)Understanding of XML structure and Design Patterns 7)Experience with SQL Server, Stored Procedures and Indexes 8)Strong understanding of complex SQL database-driven products 9)Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS 10)Work with traditional software lifecycle methodologies. Create design documents when and as required. 11)Define the integration between proposed development projects and existing systems, software and hardware 12)Consider and research emerging technologies to improve current applications, architectures and processes 13)May need to create test scripts and complete testing and troubleshooting. 14)Develop and maintain technical specifications and other documentation. 15)Provide end user support for various areas of the organization. 16)DoD/U.S. Army experience a plus.
