Key Responsibilities: Candidate will work individually and as part of a team in a fast paced environment to create, update, code, test, debug, implement, support, maintain, and thoroughly document web applications and internal tools based on technical specifications. Participation in rotational 24x7 on call IT support activities along with other IT staff. The candidate must possess a strong technical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to learn and succeed; the ability to work closely and communicate effectively with other staff; the ability to be flexible, dedicated, passionate, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong interpersonal communication. Must have excellent verbal skills, presentation skills, written communication skills and have the drive to succeed and constantly advance in your career. The candidate shall have the ability to interact with other departments and non-technical end users in a courteous, patient and professional manner. Shall demonstrate self-directed learning, the ability to quickly pick up new technologies, a proven strong analytical ability, decision making abilities and problem-solving abilities are required. Qualifications: - 1 or more years of experience creating and supporting Web applications. - Experience using ColdFusion 8/9. Will consider PHP/ASP/Other candidates who are willing to learn ColdFusion. - Familiarity with a structured programming framework (Coldbox is a plus), object oriented practices, web services, web security, usability, coding best practices, and basic web standards. - Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008. - HTML, CSS, XML / XSLT, DHTML, JavaScript and AJAX, Experience with one or more frameworks helpful (prototype, dojo, jquery, etcâ¦). - Software Development Life Cycle Experience including functional & technical specification, QA, deployment and maintenance. - Must be proficient with PCs and Windows Server (2003/2008) to provide basic desktop and network maintenance support. - VMware, DNS Servers, Active Directory, Web Servers, Data security, Anti-Virus software, monitoring a plus. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, Proficient with English language, both written and oral. - Candidate must be a US Citizen, or Green Card Holder; all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship of any kind..
