A dynamic and exciting web development company with its finger on the pulse of the entertainment industry is looking for a bright, hungry and organized web developer. You will be part of the team supporting industry leaders in the casting community www.actorsaccess.com and www.breakdownexpress.com. You will be a critical part of the team responding to both technical and business demands. Youâll work with other talented developers and interact with upper management on a regular basis. You will be part of a strong team who develop high volume customer facing web applications. You will be involved at all levels of the software development life cycle, from concept to scope to design to final development. You will be challenged with revamping existing web sites, responding to new challenges as new products are introduced, proposing and developing standards, and extending existing functionality across new services. If youâre self-motivated, technically skilled and have a great, positive attitude, you could be the candidate weâre looking for. Required Experience: * Advanced level hands-on experience development in ColdFusion (using both CFML and CFCs) * Working knowledge of software development life cycle (analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation) * Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 200x as a developer * Experience with web services * Working knowledge of W3C Standards * Experience working with API (developing them is even better) * Knowledge in Version Control primarily Subversion and TortoiseSVN Bonus Experience: * AJAX * Java * Flash Remoting * Adobe AIR/Flex/ActionScript * Background in video capture/encoding (Sorenson, On2, FFmpeg) * .Net C# Work Experience and background: * 5+ years of working with ColdFusion * Ability to work well in teams including diverse personalities * Past experience with business analysis and technical recommendations * Exceptionally strong troubleshooting and discovery skills * Amazing attention to detail This is a full time, on-site position.
