COLDFUSION APPLICATION DEVELOPER / ANALYST This individual will provide data analysis, development and implementation support for a wide range of applications. The primary objective of this role is to support the Application Development Lead in regard to back office applications/tools and customer-facing web portal. The secondary objective of this role is to provide day-to-day support and data analysis services to the broader team. This person will code upgrades and fixes under the direction of the Application Development Lead and the Operations Manager.
Main Responsibilities: Systems Support and Development (50%) ⢠Address day-to-day application and data transfer issues ensuring system remains functional and in good working order. ⢠Code system fixes, enhancements and upgrades. ⢠Execute project work plans coding system fixes, enhancements and upgrades ⢠Implement and Integrate application features and/or plugins developed by team members and/or third party developers Data Analysis and End-User Support (50%) ⢠Perform data analysis tasks for team members using a combination of pre-written and custom-coded queries ⢠Create new and or customized reports, stored procedures, views and/or triggers to support team goals ⢠Provide end-user support across all applications including, but not limited to: account management, troubleshooting, record lookup, record validation and record repair ⢠Create and maintain documentation related to common questions, problems, solutions and system functionality Basic Qualifications: ⢠Bachelor's degree in technical area or equivalent work experience ⢠Minimum 3 years of experience in technical area ⢠3 + years developing / maintaining code written in ColdFusion, JavaScript, CSS & HTML ⢠3 + years experience with relational data base development using MS SQL Server 2005 or higher ⢠1 + year experience in full lifecycle of application development ⢠Strong verbal and written business communication skills Preferred Qualifications ⢠Basic understanding of the health code and health department inspection practices. ⢠Previous experience with web application development ⢠Experience dealing with time demands, incomplete information or unexpected events ⢠Strong analytical and planning skills, including the ability to research and test solutions This is a contract position that will last for a minimum of 6 months.
