Senior Web Developer - Cold Fusion, Permanent Full Time, Remote position
Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Manage, monitor and continue development of multiple custom websites
integrated with NetSuite
* Requirements analysis for design, development, testing and documentation.
* Responsible for day-to-day application production support and system
infrastructure
* Oversee web hosting and domain management
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent field
experience
* 5 yearsâ significant experience with Cold Fusion (MX7/8) applications
* Solid knowledge in relational database design and development (T-SQL).
* Understanding of NetSuite systems, ODBC, payment processing, shopping carts
* Experience managing websites and servers on a day to day basis
* Experience working with XML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and HTML/DHTML languages
* Experience with search engine optimization
Bonus points if you have experience in:
* Coldbox, ColdSpring, Eclipse and Cold Fusion Builder (major bonus points)
* Apache or IIS (configuration, virtual hosts, rewrite rules)
* Cloud services and tokens (Rackspace, etc)
* Source Control tools (Subversion, CVS, etc.)
* Issue Tracking software (Assembla,..)
* MIS development and implementation
* Must feel comfortable and capable of tracking multiple projects at one time,
while also being a self starter that works independently
as well as with a team.
* Must be able to create, design and develop customizations quickly and
efficiently
* Must be detail oriented, precise, have excellent organization skills, quality
workmanship, time-management abilities.
(clean coding, file structure, server structure, naming, etc.)
* Be able to problem solve and figure out solutions on the go (research, test,
learn)
* Strong documentation, troubleshooting and debugging/QA skills
* Good verbal and written communications skills
