These solutions are used nationwide by cities and municipalities, fire and emergency medical service departments, school districts and water and wastewater districts. <br> <br> Position Description<br> The ideal candidate analyzes the requirements of the business to create and modify applications and utility programs that meet their needs. This includes the design, development and testing of the applications. This position requires a good working knowledge of the software development lifecycle disciplines, namely Agile programming, and technologies that support them.<br> <br> Responsibilities/Qualifications<br> ? Designs, develop, deploy and maintain software applications for our client base<br> ? Define and document technical requirements for new development <br> ? Maintain and enhance existing applications while ensuring it meets the needs of our client base<br> ? Design and implement underlying database object to support front end web applications<br> ? Have a firm understanding of design methodology with an appreciation for scrum and similar Agile development<br> ? Create efficient and maintainable code that is well documented<br> ? Strong background in writing code in numerous language protocols<br> ? Stay abreast in emerging technology trends/methodologies in product area, and willingly presents to software engineering team<br> ? Capable of communicating with technical and non-technical people in small group settings<br> ? Strong technical and analytical skills<br> ? Detail oriented, highly motivated independent worker who works well in a cross-functional team environment. <br> ? Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<br> ? Excellent time management, goal setting and prioritization capability<br> ? Thrive in a fast-paced environment driven by a competitive small company mentality<br> ? Programs with pride and interest in their craft beyond the day job<br> <br> Primary Skills<br> Experience with the following Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ColdFusion, XML, HTLM, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS, MVC Frameworks (Fusebox, Framework1)<br> <br> Education<br> Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and at least 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
