The primary focus will be the development and maintenance of custom web-based software applications which serve a variety of business needs. The emphasis will be placed on rapid development in a team environment with an adherence to modern coding frameworks and best practices. <br> <br> Candidate should have a strong background in front end and back end development of complex web applications. Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery is required. Mastery in ASP.NET (C#) is required. A working knowledge of Coldfusion is a plus, but not a deal breaker, although you have to be open to working in that environment - "intially".<br> <br> Experience Requested: <br> ?Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience <br> ?3+ years of full-time web application development experience in either ColdFusion or ASP.NET (with C#) required <br> ?Proven track record of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment <br> ?Demonstration of self-starter approach, proactively beginning and completing initiatives without significant supervision <br> ?Complete (start to finish) database-driven web application design, development, and implementation experience <br> ?Experience with MVC-based frameworks <br> ?Demonstrated strengths in translating documented requirements to a flow chart of user experience, a wire frame, a prototype, and finally a functioning application <br> ?Experience with eCommerce <br> <br> Responsibilities: <br> <br> Position Overview: <br> ?Complete the web development of new application initiatives for internal and external uses, from start to finish with little supervision <br> ?Participate in teams, large and small, to assist with maintenance or enhancement of existing applications and systems <br> ?Play an integral role in help shaping companys further expansion into eCommerce <br> ?Participate in high-level meetings to understand the requirements of web applications and assist in translating these requirements into flow charts, wire frames, and eventually well-designed functional web applications <br> ?Update and maintain web database structure and data quality/integrity as needed <br> ?Update and maintain current web applications as needed <br> <br> Required Skills: <br> ?Expertise in either ColdFusion or ASP.NET (with C#) having the ability and willingness to learn the other. <br> ?Expertise in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 <br> ?HTML5/CSS3 Proficiency <br> ?jQuery Mastery <br> ?Best Practices in the design and user interface of website and web applications <br> ?Attention to detail with strong organizational skills <br> ?Strong Time Management skills; Able to prioritize and balance competing priorities and projects <br> <br> Desired Skills: <br> ?Adobe Creative Suite familiarity <br> ?Development of Mobile-friendly websites <br> ?User Experience and best practices for mobile devices <br> ?JavaScript proficiency <br> <br> Serious Inquiries Only.
