We are a financially healthy and stable company that has created and maintains an array of custom dynamic web applications for a diverse clientele. We foster and value long-term relationships with our clients and our staff and are looking for a programmer who is seeking a long-term position with room for growth and learning. </p> <p>The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, thinks outside the box, has a strong foundation in computer science theory and application, communicates clearly, and is fascinated by creating solutions to challenges that have yet to be identified. The right candidate will have a passion for programming, a good work ethic, and a desire to learn and gain more Web development experience. You will learn how to code complex database driven Web applications and will work on Government and Fortune 500 Company web sites/Web applications. </p> <p>Requirements: </p> <ul> <li>High-level understanding of Web development and technologies </li> <li>An AA or BS degree in Computer Science </li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript </li> <li>Knowledge of jQuery/Ajax </li> <li>Database development and SQL Expertise </li> <li>Some education/experience with advanced programming languages (Java, C#, etc) </li> <li>Some education/experience with object-oriented programming and MVC pattern </li> <li>Ability to meet deadlines and successfully work on multiple projects </li> <li>Comfortable working on your own and with others </li> </ul> <p>Preferred, but not required additional knowledge/experience in: </p> <ul> <li>Advanced SQL programming </li> <li>Server languages: ColdFusion, ASP .NET </li> <li>Web services </li> </ul> <p>Depending on the level of experience of the selected candidate this position will be either an entry level or junior level web developer position.
