Reporting to the President, the IT & Development Manager position has primary responsibilities including managing the development team, developing and deploying applications that facilitate business operations, and implementing tactical plans to deliver on business goals. In addition to competency in programming and the proven ability to coach other developers, you will create and prioritize project plans, develop and analyze metrics, and support marketing and sales team tools. This role is also responsible for the operation of the web-related IT infrastructure. Qualified candidates must be proficient programmers/developers, possess top-notch analytical skills, demonstrate attention to detail, and manage multiple projects. Familiarity with the tools required for online lead generation, online advertising, and web site conversion optimization is a huge plus. This is a fast-paced and creative environment. Essential Skills and Experience: -Minimum 5 years of Web Development experience and the ability to develop web applications personally and through coaching a development team. -3+ years of proven success leading and developing a team of web programmers. -Coldfusion and PHP/MySQL background with experience building and tuning database queries and stored procedures. -Familiarity with developing mobile responsive design web applications. -Must be fluent in database schema design and MySQL. -Proficiency in HTML, XHMTL, CSS, JavaScript and XML. -Experience using a version control system for application development. -Experience managing an IT infrastructure in a Windows environment is preferred. -Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science or business-related field preferred. -Equivalent experience may complement degrees in other fields of study. Additional Qualifications: -Strong leader with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills. -Experience in developing mobile applications using Titanium or Phonegap is a plus. -Sufficient technical and business knowledge to interface effectively with all levels and disciplines within the organization. -Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and hypotheses for proposed design concepts. -Exercises sound judgment, especially in an emergency situation. -Exhibits high degree of flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to new or unusual situations. -Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
