In this hands-on role, you will lead planning, development, support, and maintenance or Europa's web-based applications, services and related data. You will fulfill the lead role in application development projects. You will work independently or lead teams in full-cycle web application development. You will be responsible for escalated web support requests from within or outside of the Web department. [arrow] Experience Requested: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of professional experience in web application architecture and development. * Has expert-level knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures in dynamic web applications, databases, and source control (i.e., MS SQL Server, MySQL, ColdFusion, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, git). * Uses experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. * Has successfully completed extensive training and/or advanced certifications * Skill Level: Expert understanding of web development fundamentals and respective programming languages and technologies; Expert understanding of model-view-controller frameworks; Expert understanding of database design, SQL Server, and SSIS; Expert understanding of git version control system. * Expertise in ColdFusion is highly desirable, as is expertise in FW/1, ORM, CFCs, CFScript and modern ColdFusion best practices. * Certifications and/or Training: Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent in training and extensive experience in addition to related certifications in the field. * Experience: 6+ years in the field * Team Leadership Experience and/or proven ability: Demonstrated ability in training and leading team building initiatives. * Project Management/Lead Ability: Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous project timelines, lead multiple projects with small or large teams.
