Our direct client has two opening for a Jr. to Mid level Software Developer located in Overland Park, KS.
They are also looking for a Coldfusion Software Developer or a candidate with similar experience willing to learn Coldfusion. These are permanent positions and the salary offered is $60-100k per year. Our client prefers local candidates but non local candidates are ok. Looking for 2 to 5 years of experience. Responsibilities: Software Developers must be able to think analytically and creatively, recommend strategies, communicate solutions, and identify new opportunities for enhancing the systems they build and support.. Other key responsibilities include: · Understanding the product systemsâ needs and goals · Collaborating with team leads and business partners to define requirements for software development projects · Writing new code in ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS · Testing and debugging code · Adhering to development and design standards · Seeing code through the entire development life cycle Experience: Candidates must have at least two years of experience developing ColdFusion applications. Substantial working experience with CFML, MSSQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is required, and an understanding of Object Oriented programming and MVC structure with experience using Coldbox and ExtJS is preferred. Education: Candidates must possess a bachelorâs degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience, with computer science emphasis preferred. Software Skills: : Candidates must have strong general technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft-based operating systems, Internet tools, telephone systems and software, and other common tools.
