I'm using 3.22.32 fine. Did you specify the server as 127.0.0.1 instead of
by another bound ip address?

I'm running coldfusion on linux - using mySQL as the datasource. I had this
combo up and running fine on a test box and am having some problems getting
it running on my development machine.
Initially I was running version 3.20.32 (came with the distro) which seemed
to work fine with the Merant mySQL driver. Then on this new computer I
decided to use a newer version of mySQL (mostly because the mySQL book I'm
reading is based on 3.22). I installed the RPMs for 3.22.32 and cannot get
the server to work as a datasource. The mySQL works fine when accessed via a
client program just no dice when I try to make it a data source.
I was planning on trying the myODBC route next - or verifying the problem on
a second machine. Anyone know if there is a problem with certain versions of
mySQL and the merant mySQL driver?
