ActuaLLY, this is your network, and/or some sort of misconfiguration... There are no bandwidth limiters in linux other than misconfigs. Sorry -Jesse -----Original Message----- From: CF-Linux [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, August 14, 2000 5:28 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: OT: Download speed Hi, I have a network with a Linux-PC as a DHCP-Client. When I go to the Allaire Web-Site to download ColdFusion Linux version, I always have download-speeds less than 1 KByte. It is the same if I access ressources on my corporate Intranet (other machines) or some other ressources on the Web as well. Do I switch to Windows on the same client-machine I get great download rates. Does anyone have an idea, what network configuration error I produced here ? Is there kind of a bandwidth limiter under Linux ?
