FWIW, I've heard that the first version of Delphi for Linux will have,
approximately, the feature set of Delphi 1 or 2. It'll be great to have
Delphi on Linux, but it might take them a while to build it completely
cross-platform, feature-for-feature compatible with the current Studio.

You should be able to build _most_ of what's in the Win32 CF Studio, but I
doubt that you'll be able to do everything. (Then again, I could be totally
wrong on this point, I don't know anything about the internals of Studio.)

Just out of curiosity has anyone been doing any CF development with Emacs? I
keep meaning to do some, just to see what it's like . . . Usually I do all
of my work on Win32. If I need to do anything on Linux, it's over a
ssh/telnet connection and I use vi.

Well, as I work for allaire, this might be a faux-paus, however, I use linux
for ALL of my developent.c, cfml, everything. I of all people really would
like, and have been toying with Studio on linux. All I can say is this:
Studio relies off of delphi. Delphi for linux is being released in q4...

Are you not the one developing a 'studio' for use in Linux? If so, is
that coming along at all?
