OK, let me see if I can explain this. I have created a trouble ticket application for internal use using CF Linux and a MySQL database on a server. The application works fine and is ready to go. That was until my boss decided all databases will be on one central server, so that changes everything. Here is the question I have: Is it possible to still pull from a MySQL database on another server using the MySQL driver that comes with CF Linux? In the DSN settings in CF administrator it gives you an option for the host, so I was thinking that you should be able to access MySQL on another server with that option (I hope so). If that is the case, does anyone know how to grant all the privileges so this can happen (I used the GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES awhile ago, but I can't remember the syntax that well. Thank in advance for any suggestions.
