I've been evaluating different developer applications for Linux and have
had a bit of trouble with CF. The problems ranged from minor
(installing) to larger (scalability).
Another product I looked at was talentsoft's Web+ for Linux. I didn't seem
to have nearly as much trouble. It scaled better (they claim it's
completely native) and it was a breeze to install. I only had a little
trouble getting mysql to work, but that was because I didn't have mysql
configured right.
Has anyone else tried Web+ and compared it to CF on Linux? I'm wondering
if my findings are unique to the tests I did or if they accurately reflect
how the products will perform in actual usage.
