you have to set those parameters up inside the oracle client config files
themselves.

tnsnames.ora is the one file you really need to configure

Subject: Oracle DSN

Hello all,

I am trying to connect to a remote Oracle server from a Linux box with CF
Professional, and I don't see a setting for the hostname or IP. Am I
missing something? Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Rob Burtelow
