I would like to come up with an authentication scheme that will
protect/restrict access to pdfs and excel documents as well as cfml pages.
I noticed that with CF 4.5 SP1 "You may make any additions to this list of
CGI variables you may require for your site and rebuild the Apache
module"... has anyone done this to include the HTTP user and password
variables?
In php I can access those variables directly, and thus include them in page
logic (ex. don't show if "userx" is logged in etc.) is there already built
in access to those variable in CF?
I would like to hear about any suggestions you have for this kind of
security.
