...and here is what I get if I comment out the LoadModule in httpd.conf
[root@host conf]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/./httpd restart

/etc/httpd/bin/apachectl start: httpd started

/usr/local/apache-ssl/bin/apachectl startssl: httpd started
