We have had *really* bad luck with all the JVM's on Linux.
They all seem to leak or crash when used with CF.

As you have noted, we don't see these problems on NT or Solaris.
The Java/CFOBJECT code in ColdFusion is the same across all platforms.

Unfortunately, you are probably going to have to get a decent Linux VM
from someone before all of these problems will be solved.

We are doing more Java testing on Linux for SP2, so if we can make a
recommendation about a stable combination of OS patches and VM,
we will do so.
