I'm in the process of moving a CF site across from IIS/WinNT to Apache/Linux
(aren't we
all) and I'm running into an intermittent error with connections to the
database server (MSSQL7 on WinNT4).
ODBC Error Code = 01000 (General warning)
[MERANT][ODBC SQL Server Driver][libssclient15]ConnectionRead (select()).
The error only seems to affect queries and storedprocs that take more than
around 10 seconds to return results from the DB (even though the Connection
Timeout is set at 2 mins in CFAdministrator...), but it doesn't occur
regularly enough to really pin down a common cause...
There's a thread about this in the forums, but no pointers to any solutions
as yet...:
