Thanks for the heads up, Sbastien. I now have a working Apache server, but
my CF Server is only partially working. I followed the instructions
according to the work-around and at least the server is answering up... but
now something odd is happening.

If I go to http://localhost/CFIDE/administrator/ I can log in and work with
the admin program just fine, but weird things start happening when I try for
http://localhost/index.cfm or http://localhost/~user/index.cfm. The page
loads and is blank. Nothing, zip, nada... just a white screen with a pretty
"done" at the bottom... until I view the source and the complete HTML of the
processed file is right there looking me smack in the face. When I go to
the page with a text browser (like Lynx), the page loads as I intended it
to.

I'm sure there's something I'm missing here... ideas?

Thanks again for the help!
Hatton Humphrey
