Yes, Postgre unlike MySQL supports transactional processing (and sub-selects
:) among other things. I'm sure you're aware of the higher connection
overhead w/ Postgre but in case not make sure to maintain a persistant
connection.

Does anyone know if <cftransaction> can be used with postgreSQL. We are
writing an app on M$ and will be porting it over to Linux running
postregSQL This will be the first time we have sent a site to something
