ColdFusion 5.0 Beta 2 is now available for download from the Allaire Beta
Site (http://beta.allaire.com).
ColdFusion 5.0 will deliver many new features aimed at developer
productivity and enhanced performance, as well as powerful business
intelligence capabilities. Beta 2 features User Defined Functions, Charting
and Graphing, New Verity VDK 2.6.1 and Verity K2 Server Integration,
Advanced Security with new Siteminder 4.1, Crystal Reports 8 integration and
more. And that's in addition to those new features introduced in Beta 1
such as Query of Queries, Incremental Page Delivery, and the new Application
Deployment Services and Server Log Analysis.

Beta 1 Update: Beta 1 has been a great success - thanks largely to those of
you assisting! With the more than 4000 downloads of Beta 1, we've had
terrific feedback. Only 17 bugs have been identified by public testers so
far with ONLY 1 being classified as severe (and, yes, it's already been
fixed!) Top quality and maximum productivity for you, the developer, are
our most important goals for ColdFusion 5.0 and we're sure that, even in
these Beta releases, we're delivering. Make sure to upgrade your test
environment to Beta 2 to keep testing or download now to start. Get it, try
it, and help make ColdFusion 5.0 the best Internet product ever.
