As a followup, the following script seems to work for scrubbing the bare
linefeeds off CFMAIL messages:

REReplaceNoCase(xfile, '([[:print:]])(#Chr(10)#)([[:print:]])',
'\1'&Chr(13)&Chr(10)&'\3', 'ALL')
