This doesn't use perl and might not be the best way, but..

***Run this script every 5 minutes***
/home/coldfusion/bin/cfstat -n |awk '{print $11}' > /root/AvgReqTime
/home/coldfusion/bin/cfstat -n |awk '{print $12}' > /root/AvgDbTime

This is the line for mrtg (I haven't tested this but have done it before so
you may need to check the doc's)
Target[cfstat]: `cat /root/AvgRegTime` + `cat /root/AvgDbTime`

Subject: cfstat & mrtg

Dear List

I am trying to create an MRTG graph, using CFSTAT.
If I can pass 2 values from CFSTAT (preferably AvgReg Time & AvgDB
time),
this would work like dream.

Iam trying to use a perl script to get and print these values, but cant get
it to work.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

Thanks again.
