Have you looked at jEdit?  Nice!!  :^)

I use jEdit, with LinCVS for Source Control, and all seems to work well.
The only time I had to boot into NT is to run Access, but five minutes
later, the machine locked up. So I installed Access on my NT server, and I
haven't rebooted out of Linux since!
