I remember Allaire recommending against it for some reason or another, but
it's been running on my home workstation/desktop for localhost devwork now
for about 2 week. 4.5 for several months before that. I ran 4.5 on
Mandrake7.x/8.0, and the current 5.0 on SuSE 7.2. This is a dual
PIIIXeon550... I admit it's not getting the hits of a prod. server (well,
it's got it's dev ddays <g>), but from seeing the way it's acted on this
machine, I would personally not have a problem with putting it on a
production machine until proven otherwise...
