Here's one that threw my through a tizzy for quite a while. I don't know
if it's a FAQ or not but the very nature of the error message made it hard
to track down
Q: Why am I getting Unix Error Number 2 in my logfile and
the CF server reports an error to every user requesting a page?
A: Under heavy load sometimes the server attemps to mash too much data
through a Unix socket in communicating with the webserver. To fix this
you need to wrap up your webserver's startup scripts and the CFServer
startup scripts setting environment varialbes to force it to use TCP
sockets. This will cause a 10-15% performance hit but will prevent the
server from crashing. Set the variable "CF_NETWORK_SOCKET" equal to "1" in
your /opt/coldfusion/bin/start script, and add it to the list of variables
to be exported in the 'VAR_LIST' variable at the bottom. In your apache
startup scripts set CF_NETWORK_SOCKET equal to "1" there too.
