How do you know that cfserver is using this memory? Isn't your
graph for system memory usage?
I would use the cfstat program to track CF requests at the same
time you track memory usage of the cfserver process itself (not
the whole system).
If you are losing 100MB / hour to cfserver, then it must be running
something!

The one that seems to have these exceptionally high memory leaks
(about 100 MB per day when nothing really happens), is a dual P III 650
MHz
with 512 MB RAM

It's 2.2.16 with SMP support, and CF is 4.5.1 sp2
We have only started using CF 5.0.
On the one system that already has CF 5.0 the memory usage grows slower
but still it grows when nothing happens on the system.
You can even have a look at it yourself:
http://www.kukih.de/sand
On the days 22.09.2001 and 23.09.2001 (Sa, Su) nobody will work on the
system
but the memory grows from below 30 % of 384 MB to nearly 40% in 2 days.
This system is an AMD-K7 500 MHz with 384 MB
What do you think?
Bye
