Hi there, We are trying to create a new customtag for CF 4.5.1 by extending the example that is provided with the server installation (which compiles succesfully btw).
For the customtag we are using a library which we made ourselfs (and works when we test it in a testprogram on Linux).. When we use the library through coldfusion by calling the customtag, the server crashes. Leaving no information in the logs which we can use. Now we have several questions: 1) What is the best version of gcc/egcs to compile customtags under linux ? 2) What is the best way to link the customtag (what compiler options) ?
