I agree 100% that EFNet is not great place, only reason I have stayed on it all these years is because I have a good bit of friends in several channels on there and most of us are all on the same server, so even if the script kiddies go and split things, we usually are not effected by it. The #coldfusion channel is decent during the days for attaining help, although most of us that have been on it for awhile now, end up talking via other means like MSN messenger since most companies seem to allow that one in our circle.
Besides, leaving a few bots going on some shells is not all that hard of a thing to keep going, just need to find some more free shells now that a couple ISPs in town shut down.
