Simply finding a decent/adequate text editor that has an integrated FTP capability would be nice ... this would replicate most of ColdFusion Studio's RDS capability. So far, I've been unable to find such an editor with integrated FTP. Any ideas?

Go straight to jedit.sourceforge.com... do not pass go, do not collect $200! :^) It has the syntax highlighting for CF, and I read somewhere that more indepth ColdFusion support was coming... it is very extensible, there are stacks of plugins available. Give it a try anyway...go for the new version 4 too, it has some nice new features. Personally I think it's great. jEdit is written in java, but don't let that put you off. It runs well... and I think the features are worth it too. Anyway.. I'll stop prattling on! N Toby Tremayne wrote: > > Has anyone out there found a replacement for CFStudio on linux?
