Hi there, ok, this isn't CF specific, I've had it using JDBC and PHP, it basically means that the driver is rudly closing the connection, I think it needs to send a single "X". I always make sure that connections get closed properly. In java I got around it using a singleton and keeping the connection open in a pool. Can you create connection pools in CF?
It doesn't really do anything bad other than fill up postmaster.log :-) Write yourself a perl deamon to chew the log. In fact, when I get back to the office I'll dig it up and send it over.
