Hi there,

ok, this isn't CF specific, I've had it using JDBC and PHP, it basically
means that the
driver is rudly closing the connection, I think it needs to send a single
"X".  I always
make sure that connections get closed properly. In java I got around it
using a singleton
and keeping the connection open in a pool. Can you create connection pools
in CF?

It doesn't really do anything bad other than fill up postmaster.log :-)
Write yourself a perl
deamon to chew the log. In fact, when I get back to the office I'll dig it
up and send it over.
