This is OT :-)  There is a cfserver mailing list BTW.

Anyway, is there a chance that the cfserver or cfexec service is running
under a non-system acct. i.e. a user ??
What version of CF ? Nt or Win2000 ?
Advanced or normal security ?
Are you using cfregistry in you templates ??
