It's not the compat libstdc++ that's the problem, it's the distro version
WITH the compat libs.

4.5 is linked against redhat 6.1 libraries. The c++ dependencies have always
been a thorn in our side.

Could this have anything to do with the version of compat-libstdc++ we are
running?

If anyone has a properly functioning version of CF 5.4 running under Redhat
could they post the version of compat-libstdc++ they are using?
