I have been getting SIG11 on HH 7.2 . I was actually getting it while viewing the log files with coldfusion administrator. I would click on one of the log files sometimes and get a 404 in the frame. It was random and took me a while to put together the 404 on the log file viewer and the SIG11. I applied cfam-notification-patch-linux http://www.macromedia.com/v1/Handlers/index.cfm?ID=21807&Method=Full technote 21807. I applied the patch on Wednesday and on Friday I moved the location of the log directory making the mistake of not creating the pids subdirectory. I ended up with a couple of instances of Coldfusion (slap self in four-head) by accident and I received the error again I am not sure if it was the multiple instances of coldfusion running or when I went to view the log files. I ended up having to delete the cfusionlog dsn and then viewing the logfiles to get the log viewer to work. But I have not seen it other than that one time since applying the hotfix. It Idea of running every template in a controlled environment is a task that is very time consuming on my system. Maybe Jesse can comment on wether the problem with the log viewer could possibly be the culprit. I am not 100% sure since I have only had the patch on for 3 days. I hope that this helps. -d- ____________________________ Devin Callaway Web Technology Specialist Information Technology Department Westminster College (801) 832-2002 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
>>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 03/07/02 12:39PM >>> hmm. I've seen 2 people suffering from mysterious SIG11 Stuff on RH 6.2 and 7.2, in both cases, it has actually been something in thier application actually cuasing the crash. Your best bet is to run each template in a controlled environment to actually find the one causing the crash. -jesse > -----Original Message----- > From: Dane Ensign [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, March 07, 2002 2:12 PM > To: CF-Linux > Subject: RE: CF-Linux-List V1 #120 > > > there's nothingin in the mail queue.
