I am in the process of setting up a RH 7.2 server for a customer with CF 5.0
professional, this is the first time using CF for Linux, everything has been
working great except when our customer started using cfupdate and trying to
update text files (they get truncated to 9 or 10 characters) I have tried
putting a new driver in ((myodbc) which I can now see under the Datasources
in CF Admin, but when I select it verification fails, and when running a CF
query on this new DSN it says the driver is not loaded, and I can not find
any info an getting this to work, I have read similar problems from others,
but never a resolution. I mentioned to the customer that cfquery type
update works fine but they want to stick with cfupdate.

Can someone put me back on the path, and point in in the right direction.
