hi Jesse,

we have the latest redhat errata installed except possibly a few that
came out this week.

i'm running CFMX under Apache (to be exact: "Apache/1.3.23 (Unix)
(Red-Hat/Linux)
mod_ssl/2.8.7 OpenSSL/0.9.6b DAV/1.0.3 PHP/4.1.2 mod_perl/1.26".) so
both ColdFusion and Apache are running under the "apache" user. is
that not the best way to do it? i'm open to suggestions because for
political reasons i'm now running a production CFMX server that can't
use Verity or show debugging information and i'm open to trying
anything at this point...

steve
