Jonothon, I like the idea that you're pushing for here, but I think that the number of nuances in developing for a Linux environment are small enough that they can be put on one or two pages of paper and just be documented instead of requiring their own test. You don't have a piece of paper that says you know your linux CF, instead you have a piece of paper that says this is what you need to know to your linux CF.
If you want to push for a new test, push for a test for CF Server administration. How to properly add a .jar file to the classpath, how to setup a verity collection, how to archive and deploy a site. Stuff like that. t ********************************************************************** Tyler M. Sadly, this is not the case, and the target development area for all CFMX exams is Windows. I have continued communication with Ms. O'Byrne and asked for her permission to pass her email address out to this group so that all of us who are interested in seeing a CFMX Linux exam can chime in. It's vital that Ms. O'Byrne can show a large demand for Linux-orientated exams. We have all worked with CFMX on Linux and have learned that there are certain nuances and tricks that need to be implemented in the Linux environment that don't apply to Windows. If we are able to show this, we will have a CFMX exam for Linux. Ms. O'Byrne's email address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] Ms. O'Byrne, thank you very much for this opportunity. To the list, I hope we can do it! Jonothon Ortiz Vice President Xnext, Inc.
