Hi All,

Having installed 20 different instances of Cold Fusion on Linux, I thought
I had seen everything. I have a new one.

On a :
        Red Hat 7.3 install
Cold Fusion 5.0, all hot fixes applied
        apache-1.3.23-14
        using mysql
                mysql-3.23.49-3
                mysql-server-3.23.49-3
                mysqlclient9-3.23.22-4

Problem. An application that was running on a previous server no longer
allows
logins on the new server. My debugging so far has produced two conclusions:

        1. The system originally was not creating session ids and after loading the
hot fixes I now see an sid=xxxxxxxx during debugging output.
        2. Real strange that I do not have an Application log and cannot seem to
make any changes in an Application.cfm that will cause the system
                to create one.

I believe this is all related to the fact that an Application Scope has not
been created but
I have no idea how to force that.

Suggestions anyone and thanks in advance to all.

Larry
