I have entered mail.domain.com in the Administrator... and it verifies.

Have you checked the setting in the CF administrator? Might be that.

I have a web server and a mail server... both running in the same
domain. When specifying server in a cfmail tag, I just used:
mail.domain.com... but the mail never gets delivered.

This has worked on Windows versions of CF... any help would be
appreciated.
