Jillian,

Do you have root access to the mail server? If so, check out the
following link: http://www.sendmail.org/tips/relaying.html.

Regards,
Dennis

This is the error I am getting... which I understand... my question is:
how do I get around it? Can I use Sendmail directly?

I have a web server and a mail server... both running in the same
domain. When specifying server in a cfmail tag, I just used:
mail.domain.com... but the mail never gets delivered.

This has worked on Windows versions of CF... any help would be
appreciated.
