That guy managed to fix it. Apparently what he did was to reinstall Flash MX and Flash Remoting Component on the developer (client) machine.
Let me see if I'm getting this right. 1) CFMX in any OS version are Flash Remoting ready. No configuration needed. 2) Installing the Flash Remoting Component (FRC) will install the server side action scripts (e.g NetServices.as, etc) together with the Flash MX. (Anything else that FRC installs?) 3) When publishing Flash to SWF, these scripts will be compiled as well. what could have gone wrong is when compiling the file to SWF, server side action scripts were not present. <anthony> > -----Original Message----- > From: Jesse Noller [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Wednesday, September 25, 2002 8:06 PM > To: CF-Linux > Subject: RE: flash remoting on linux > > > What code is he trying to run, and do the example flash remoting > applications work? > > Jesse Noller > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Macromedia Server Development > Unix/Linux "special guy" > > "But I neeeeed tacos!
