I am running CF 5.0 on Red Hat Gnu/Linux release 7.2 (Enigma) Dual Pentium II 333 Compaq server. I have all Redhat patches installed. I use both the Mysql and Postgres Data sources, as well as the default text driver for logging. I have all the Coldfusion hot fixes that aply to Gnu/Linux installed.
rpm -qa | grep glib compat-glibc-6.2-2.1.3.2 glib10-1.0.6-10 glib-1.2.10-5 glibc-common-2.2.4-30 glibc-devel-2.2.4-30 glibc-2.2.4-30 rpm -qa | grep apache apache-1.3.22-6 My problem is CF 5.0 restarts twice a minute, This restarting has bad effects on the customers using session variables. Nothing appears in either the web logs or Coldfusion logs that maps to the restarts. (see log at bottom) The crashes are not caused by the customers they all have proper locks around shared memory variables... ect. I know this because I can shutdown the web server, and the restarts still happen even with the web server down. Coldfusion is doing something twice a minute that is causing it to fail and the supervisor daemon to restart it. I am at wits end. Does anyone know what could cause this to happen? And what can be tried to fix the problem?
