the 550 response is usually means "relaying is denied"

see: http://www.sendmail.org/tips/relaying.html for more info.

Subject: CFMX and sendmail configuration problem

This is obviously a permissions problem, but I'm making no headway in
solving it. Simple <cfmail> form that both stores data in a table and
sends it as an email is not working. Have used a similar form using RH 6.2
and 7 and Coldfusion 5, so I'm pretty sure it's a sendmail configuration
screwup on my part.

I am able to set/verify my mail host as 127.0.0.1 under CFMX administrator.

Using RH 7.3, ColdFusion MX, sendmail

 From /var/logs/maillog
Oct 14 15:53:54 ratatosk sendmail[27561]: g9EKrsA27561: tcpwrappers
(ratatosk, 127.0.0.1) rejection
Oct 14 15:53:54 ratatosk sendmail[27561]: NOQUEUE: ratatosk [127.0.0.1] did
not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA

 From coldfusion logs: mail.log
"Error","scheduler-1","10/14/02","15:53:54",,"Sending failed; nested
exception is: javax.mail.MessagingException: 550 5.0.0 Access denied "

Any suggestions welcome.
