I've been following the thread Christine Lawson posted over on cf-talk regarding a potential solution for the threading problem on CFMX. <http://webforums.macromedia.com/coldfusion/messageview.cfm?catid=10&threadid=489312>
One of the steps is ensuring that kernel 2.4.9-34smp is installed. However, there is a 2.4.18 version from RedHat which claims to fix several security flaws (and other enhancements) in the 2.4.9-34 kernel. Does anybody know if this kernel version is officially supported by Macromedia? Also, does upgrading the listed libraries in that thread have any negative effect on CF 5? I plan on having CFMX and CF 5 on the same box for development for the time being. I'm using RH 7.2 with Apache 1.3.27. Thanks, Dave. ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
