We're currently running CF 4.5 SP2 on RedHat 7.2 / Apache 1.3.27. I read that MM recommends RedHat 7.2 with Apache 1.3 for best results with CFMX - does anyone have any input on that? I was hoping to use RH 8.0 and possibly even Apache 2.0, but of course, stability is item #1.
Also, I was wondering about the JDBC drivers that CFMX has on 'nix - what version(s) of MySQL are supported? We currently use 3.23.xx without transaction support - does anyone know if the CFMX drivers support the version of MySQL that supports transactions? Also, we're looking at starting to use PostgreSQL for some of our newer, larger applications - was just wondering what kind of success people have had with the 3rd party JDBC driver that's out there... Thanks for your help, everyone... -Cliff On Thu, 19 Dec 2002 17:12:13 -0800 (PST), CF-Linux wrote: > > CF-Linux 19-Dec-02 Issue:20 > In this issue: > Linux Users vs. Windows Users for ColdFusion > Linux Users vs. Windows Users for ColdFusion > Linux Users vs. Windows Users for ColdFusion > Linux Users vs. Windows Users for ColdFusion > Linux Users vs. Windows Users for ColdFusion > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=14 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=14 This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
