Right... I just pointed out what it was doing (the infinite loop), sorry I 
didn't go further into details and evaluate the result of ref LT 5. 
:P  Either way, it's an infinite loop which is a problem.  If we really 
want to get picky, we don't need the #'s... and scope your vars.
