This is possible.

OpenLink Software at:

    www.openlinksw.com

provides drivers for CFMX and a Request Broker for the win box (real or  
emulated) that runs MS-Access.

In effect, the Request Broker makes the MS-Access act like a server  
accessible via TCP/IP.

Check the archives -- there were several threads here or CF-Talk.
